The board of Biofiber Tech Sweden AB has appointed Pia Ingvallsén, earlier Director of Sales, to interim CEO. The founder Dr. Eric Zhang will continue in the company and focus on strategic alliances and the technology portfolio.
Dr. Eric Zhang, an innovator and technology entrepreneur with a long experience from the pulp and paper industry founded Biofiber Tech in 2016 as a response to the urgent need of sustainable alternatives to plastic in.
Now Eric Zhang and the Board of Biofiber Tech have appointed Pia Ingvallsén, who is currently Director of Sales and Business Development, as interim CEO.

Recently, Hamburg-based K.D. Feddersen Holding GmbH and Almi Invest GreenTech, together with other existing investors, made a follow-up investment in Biofiber Tech Sweden AB. The investment enables Biofiber Tech to take the next step and achieve full-scale production of their material innovation FibraQ®.
